After selecting a worksheet you will see some lines of data found within that worksheet. You also may select a different worksheet.
Import recipients list, Jamail, dBase
No need to configure any settings while importing recipient data from Jamail 2, Jamail 3 or dBase files. The data format is already known to Jamail and can be used for import directly.
Main window with ODBC connection
Alternatively to importing data from a separate file, you can connect Jamail to your favorite ODBC source like an Oracle, MS SQL Server or even an Access MDB file. By using our high speed ODBC connection you don't need to care for recipient lists stored in different places.
Main window with Plain Text
Step 3 lets you create your email body. Depending on the type of Jamailing (HTML, HTML & Plain Text, Plain Text only) you are creating, you have different tabsheets available for writing your email body. The screenshot shows you a number of variables placed in brackets which are replaced by the values defined in the recipient list while sending takes place. You can use these variables also as dynamic attachments.
Main window with HTML body
To create the HTML body of a Jamailing you have several options available: First of all you can use the built in designer. It has all functions available which are useful for creating professional looking HTML pages. If you need more flexibility you can edit your email body in a WYSIWYG editor like dreamweaver, Net Objects Fusion or even Microsoft Word and copy and paste it into the HTML Editor. After creating the text you can add variables to be replaced at sending time.
Main window with Jamailing Precheck
You have finished creating your personal email. Before starting send process, Jamail informs you about your Jamailing and shows you warnings and writes down some technical information.
Main window with Jamailing Precheck and error recognition
If Jamail finds an error within your Jamailing it shows you a note informing you about what needs to be changed or added. This will help you solving problems by your own.
Main window with Jamailing Preview
After prechecking your Jamailing you can view all emails to be sent out by visiting Jamailing Preview. So you can easily decide, if the mailing satisfies your needs or if you need to make some changes before sending. You also have the possibility to write out test emails or send emails to flagged recipients only.
Jamailing status
While sending takes place, Jamail informs you about the status of your Jamailing. Additionally you can select if Jamail should shut down your PC after the transfer or if Jamail only should terminate after finishing. You can even abort your Jamailing at any time.
Automatic Shutdown
After finishing Jamail can shut down your PC automatically. Before shutdown takes place a window is shown where you can abort the shutdown for about one minute.
